SACI recognizes Honorary Members (Pallares, Vega & Fraga), Directors (Santa, Roman, Bryson, Kaiser and Giraldo) and Committee (Mejia)

The Spanish American Club, Inc. (SACI) recognized three individuals for their outstanding contribution to the scholarship program. The awards were presented Saturday August 27, 2009.
Free lance artist Lydi Pallares de Port St. Lucie, was awarded a plaque for her continued contributions to the club. She donated 3 paintings, The Watermelon”, The “Skull” and Puppy Flower.
Juan Carlos Vega and Ivonne Fraga, owners of the local Spanish newspaper “La Voz” also received an award for their support and contribution to the club.
This was the 17th year that the club honors those who have contributed to help local students and preserve the Hispanic heritage on the Treasure Coast. The Association, founded in 1992, represents more that 80 members from the Treasure Coast.
SACI le entrega placas a socios honorarios
El “Spanish American Club, Inc.” (SACI) reconoció tres socios por su contribución y labor en el programa de la beca del club. El evento se llevó a cabo en el sábado 29 de agosto en la ciudad de Ft. Pierce.
La artista de Port St. Lucie Lydi Pallares, se le entregó una placa for su labor y contribución al club. Ella ha donado 3 pinturas, “The Watermelon”, “The Skull” y “The Puppy Flower” para recaudar fondos para la beca estudiantil del club.
Los dueños del períodico “La Voz”, Juan Carlos Vega y su esposa Ivonne Fraga, también se le otorgaron placas por su labor y contribución al club y ayudar con en el programa de la beca estudiantil.
La corporación lleva 17 años consecutivos reconciendo a los socios que han contribuido a ayudar a los estudiantes hispanos y preservar la herencia Latina en el área. El SACI es una organización sin fines de lucro fundada en el 1992 para conservar y promover la cultura hispana en la Costa del Tesoro y cuenta con más de 80 socios activos.

Directores reciben placas por su labor en el club en la Asamblea General 2009.
Lionel Román le entregó placas de agradecimiento a los directores de la pasada directiva: Herman Santa, Ron Bryson, Connie Giraldo-Silver y Blanca Mireya Kaiser.
Acto seguido, el nuevo Presidente Rivera le otorgó una placa de agradecimiento al Presidente saliente Román.
