Spanish American Club celebrates the first event of the year

The Spanish American Club, Inc. celebrates the Annual Black/White event on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Disabled American Veterans Club in Port St. Lucie.

The members and their guests kicked off the first get together of the year with raffles, birthday, delicious hors d’oeuvres brought by each members to share at their tables that lasted thought the evening and non-stop Latin dancing from 7:00 P.M. until 11:00 P.M. by D.J. José Ramírez.

50/50 winners were: David Ramos and Nestor Pereira. Door prize winners were: Al Peña, Alma Lacayo, Carlos Lopez, Evelyn Carrillo, Josie Guadalupe, Virginia Feliciano, Dick Diamond, Elvira Jouvin and Tony Colón. Members present celebrating their birthdays were: Xiomara Guanill, Ana Rodriguez, Felix Asencio, Nereida Pellot, Sonia Echevarria, Uta McFadden, Elvira Jouvin and Jane Durango.

Many thanks to the members who donated the door prizes and those members who helped with the decoration and the set -ups. The new board extends its thanks to the generosity of our members and their guests who bought tickets for the 50/50 drawing. Proceeds of the drawing will go to the scholarship funds of the club.

The Spanish American Club, Inc. is a not profit benefit organization comprised of members in Martin and St. Lucie counties who are dedicated to the promotion and preservation of the Hispanic heritage on the Treasure Coast.

The next event of the club has been scheduled at Club Med to celebrate the “Annual Valentine Dinner Dance” on Saturday, February 18 at Club Med in Port St. Lucie. Reservations are required. Donations are $55/person or $80/couple with a Club Med coupon. The pass includes: International buffet (Asian, Italian, Mexican and American), Unlimited imported and local brand drinks, Live entertainment and Live D.J from 6:00 P.M. until 1:00 A.M.

El Spanish American Club celebra su primer baile del año

El baile Anual Negro y Blanco (Black/White) sirvió de escenario para unir a los socios y dar comienzo al nuevo año con un espíritu de hermandad, solidaridad y respeto que nos debe acompañar por todo el año. El evento del Spanish American Club, Inc. se celebró el sábado 28 de enero en el Disabled American Veterans Club en la ciudad de Port St. Lucie.

los asistentes e invitados bailaron toda la noche con el repertorio de música latina del D.J José Ramírez y deleitaron sus paladares de las picadas preparada por los mismos socios. En un receso se celebraron los cumpleaños de los socios del mes de enero. Entre ellos estaban Xiomara Guanill, Ana Rodríguez, Félix Asencio, Nereida Pellot, Sonia Echevarría, Uta McFadden, Elvira Jouvin and Jane Durango.

Los ganadores de la rifa del 50/50 fueron: David Ramos y Nestor Pereira. Los ganadores de los premios fueron: Al Peña, Alma Lacayo, Carlos López, Evelyn Carrillo, Josie Guadalupe, Virginia Feliciano, Dick Diamond, Elvira Jouvin and Tony Colón.

Mil gracias a los asistentes que compraron boletos para el beneficio de la beca y a los socios que donaron los premios para las rifas. También queremos agradecer a los socios que decoraron el salón y ayudaron con los set ups.

El próximo evento del club está planeado para el sábado 18 de febrero para celebrar la fiesta anual de enamorados en el lujoso restaurante de Club Med en la ciudad de Port St. Lucie. La donación es de $55 por persona o $80 por pareja con el cupón de entrada. La admisión incluye bar abierto toda la noche con bebidas importadas y bufét internacional, espectáculo y D.J. en vivo. El evento empezará a las 5:30 de la tarde y terminará a la 1 de la mañana. Reservaciones son requeridas.
