Annual Mother’s Day with Disc Jockey Sam Rivera at the “DAV”

Herman Santa

On Saturday, May 11th, the Spanish American Club, Inc. (SACI) hosted the Mothers’ Day party. Latin music lovers were able to enjoy the sensational Disk Jockey of the moment, Samuel Rivera from Indiantown. Sammy, as almost everyone knows him, has a huge Latin and American music discotheque. The party started at 8 PM at the Disabled American Club in Port St. Lucie and ended at 2 AM.

This was a party organized by the new Board of Directors to raise funds for the club’s scholarship. During an intermission, prizes for the night were raffled, including the 50/50 raffle and the “Grand Prize,” a sculpture (Palm made of brass and copper) donated by the young sculptor Eric Piñeiro. The winners were as follows: Eda Torres (50/50) and Pamela Besemer (Sculpture). Members and guests enjoyed themselves with the rhythm of “D.J. Sammy.”
