Spanish American Club members celebrate Valentine

On Saturday, February 9, members and their guests celebrated the Annual Valentine Party of the Spanish American Club, Inc. at the Disabled American Veteran Club in Port St. Lucie.

During a break, the D.J. played a “Happy Birthday” song for members and their guests who were celebrating their birthdays during the month of February. Among them were: Ivan Guanill, Catalina Ruiz, Nancy Rozon, Maria Romero, Sonia Hernandez, Abel Cruz, Lilly Cruz, Angelica Carroll and Al Feliciano.

The decoration committee (Nancy Rozon and Melissa James) did a good job. Some of the raffle winners were: Angel Pellot, Maria Romero, Karen Diamond, Helen Couluris, Marcel Cartagena and Unidentified guest.

The Highlighs of the night were Carlos Alberto Meneses (Tango and bolero singer from Argentina) and José Ramirez (D.J. Ranchera and Bolero singer from El Salvador) who sang few songs after the raffles drawings.

What a party! The new board is planning their second party of the year to celebrate Mardi Gras on Saturday, March 23 at the same location.
