The Spanish American Club, Inc. Annual Valentine Dance a big celebration from the beginning to the end

The Spanish American Club, Inc. annual Valentine dinner dance on Saturday, Feb. 23 was a celebration from the beginning to the end and enjoyed by everyone.  The event was held at the Disabled American Veterans Hall in Port St. Lucie. Everyone enjoyed their drinks, snacks, live entertainment and dancing all night with D.J. José Ramírez.

During a break, D. J. José Ramírez played a birthday song to the members and guests that were celebrating their birthdays of the month of February. Among the present were, Al Feliciano, Hector Gil, Domingo Sanchez, Lily Cruz, Sonia Hernández, Virginia Gonzalez, María McCutcheon, Crichton McCutcheon, Nancy Rozon, Galud Segura, Rosalinda Pagán and Iván Guanill.  Door Prize winners were Lucy Santa, Nereida Pellot, Blair Dickerson, Yvonne Bonet and Sonia Echevarria. 50/50 winners were: Mary Figliola, Eduardo Parra and Lillian Cruz.

A big “Thank You” to our President Carlos Bonet, who coordinated the event with his newly elected board of directors, Vice Pres. Al Feliciano, Treasurer Josephine Guadalupe, Secretary Evelyn Carrillo, Public Relations Vivian Megaro, Director (Vocal) Nancy Rozon and Substitute Mary Figliola. Many thanks to the members who helped with the decorations and set-ups. Finally, thanks to the members that donated the door prizes and bought tickets for the raffles. All proceeds from the event will go to the Scholarship funds of the club.

The Mardi Gras Party on Saturday, March 30th will be held at the DAV Chapter 113, 1150 SW California Ave. Port St. Lucie, Fl 34953 from 6:30 PM to 11:00 P.M.
