Members of the Spanish American Club, Inc. (SACI) made Christmas Gifts for low income families a success.

This year’s toys collection of the SACI was a huge success. We could not achieve it without the tremendous generosity from our members and hard work from our Christmas Toys Committee and our Board. Special thanks to Agueda Mejía who came up with the idea to create a list of the children with their names, gender and ages. Finally, we must thank this wonderful membership of our club. So many of you came out to bring the gifts, had dinner and enjoyed the music at Johnny’s’ Restaurant on Saturday, December 15, 2007. We had great time. Again, thanks for your generosity.

Ambiente navideño del SACI en Johnny’s Restaurant

Algunos de los socios del “Spanish American Club, Inc.” se reunieron el sábado 15 de diciembre en “Johnny’s Restaurant” para recolectar los juguetes navideños para niños de bajos ingresos. El restaurante fue el lugar perfecto para darle la bienvenida a la Navidad en un ambiente familiar entre amigos, tragos, rizas, baile y una deliciosa cena. La música estuvo amenizada por “Sabor Latino Entertainment”. Quiero aprovechar este momento para agradecer a todos los socios que donaron los juguetes. Se recolectaron juguetes para 28 niños. Mil gracias a Águeda Mejía quien coordinó la recolección de juguetes este año y quien los repartirá en Stuart e Indiantown. A todos Feliz Navidad y un prospero Año Nuevo.
