SACI will celebrate the First Golf Tournament

The club will celebrate its “First Annual Golf Tournament” in October 1998 to benefit the student scholarship. The event will take place at the Savanna Club in Port St. Lucie. The tournament, which will be played under the “Two persons best ball” format, will start at 8:30 A.M. It will be limited to the first 20 golfers who pay the registration fee, which costs $25.00. There will be trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd (Best Score) “Low Gross”, “Longest Drive” and “Closest to Pin”. This is the first time that the club is sponsoring a golf tournament. The tournament is expected to be a complete success.

People interested in participating can call the “Golf Committee” at the following contacts: White City, Tom Gonzalez, Palm City, Dana Peterson, Jensen Beach, Herman Santa, Port St. Lucie to Ed Finnerty. Thanks to the support of golfer friends who are always there when needed!
