All Aboard “Voyager of the Seas”

On Friday morning, May 13 members and their guests of the Spanish American Club, Inc. (SACI) went on 9-day cruise to Europe. The trip included a cruise ship (Voyager of the Seas) and Land package from Miami (Iberia Air Lines) to Madrid, Spain. The destination was Western Mediterranean which includes the following countries and cities; Barcelona, Spain, Toulon, France and in Italy, the following cities: Livorno, Rome, the island of Sicily, Messina and Venice.

We met our cruise guides Nora Candelario and her sister Delia Diaz from Vacation Superstore, Inc. at the parking lot of Public’s Supermarket in Port St. Lucie and boarded our motor coach for the 2 hour ride to the Airport of Miami.

We boarded our plane in Miami to an eight-hour trip to Madrid, Spain via Barcelona to our hotel in downtown Barcelona. On Saturday we stay in Barcelona overnight and took a tour the following day for half day sightseeing and a tour to Basilica “Sagrada Familia” and outside view of Olympic Stadium and a tour of the Spanish Village.

May, 17 Livorno ( Florence / Pisa), Italy 7:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m.

May, 19 Messina (Sicily), Italy 11:00 a.m. 8:00 p.m.
May, 20 at Sea
May, 21 Venice, Italy 6:00 a.m.
