Tasty food, good dancing music after the general Assembly

By Herman Santa

A delicious buffet, good camaraderie and Latin music, that’s what the members of the Spanish American Club, Inc. and their guests enjoyed Saturday, January 5 to kick off the Three Kings holidays “Fiesta de Reyes” and the New Year at the Disabled American Veterans club in Port St. Lucie.

We began the evening with the election of the new board for fiscal year 2013 at 4:30 P.M.  After the election of the new board dinner, the D.J. played a “Happy Birthday” song for members and their guests who were celebrating their birthdays during the month of January, among them were: Ray Matias, Xiomara Guanill and Ivan Guanill, then the board conducted the 50/50 raffle.  The winners were: Rossana Parra and Manny Carcel.

The Highlight of the night was José Ramirez who sang a few Mexican songs after the raffles drawings.  I want to thank every one for coming early and vote to elect a new board.  Special thanks to Vivi Pouriet and Angelo Cordova from Medical Consultants for their presentation and the donation of the gift bags.  We had a good time.  The new board is planning their first party of the year to celebrate Valentine on Saturday, FebruL to R: Leo Roman, Isa Bryson, Gustavo Santa, Lucy Santa and Mercy Romanary 9 at the same location.
