Scholarship 1994 (Gil)
First scholarship from the “Spanish American Club, Inc.”

On July 23rd, the members of the “Spanish American Club, Inc.” gathered to award a $500 scholarship to the young Armando Gil. We all had the pleasure of chatting with Armando and confirming how deserving he is of the scholarship. The meeting took place at the home of our president, Mr. Tomás González, and his dear wife, Cathy, who graciously offered their home. All members brought a dish of their choice and celebrated with dancing and music until the late hours of the night. Everyone had a great time, and there was also the opportunity to introduce new members who have joined this friendly and cheerful group of the “Spanish American Club, Inc.”
