SACI members honored during their Annual Christmas Dinner Dance

On Friday, December 29, 2017, at the Annual Christmas Dinner Dance at the Polish American Social Club in Port St. Lucie a special award was given to some director of the club for their service, contribution and dedication to the club.
Committee members were recognized for their service and were given gift card certificates. Among them were Carlos Mejia, Angel and Nerida Pellot, Dick and Karen Diamond, Josie Guadalupe, Virginia Feliciano, Evelyn Carrillo and Diana Nieves. The awards were presented by the president of the club Ruben Aleman. Congratulation to all of them. It was enjoyable event.

The owners of the newspaper “La Voz”, Juan Carlos Vega and his wife Ivonne Fraga, were awarded plaques for their work and contribution to the club and helping with the student scholarship program.
This was the 17th year that the club honors those who have contributed to help local students and preserve the Hispanic heritage on the Treasure Coast. The Association, founded in 1992, represents more than 80 members from the Treasure Coast.
The corporation has been recognizing partners who have contributed to helping Hispanic students and preserving Latino heritage in the area for 17 consecutive years. SACI is a non-profit organization founded in 1992 to preserve and promote Hispanic culture on the Treasure Coast and has more than 80 active members.
