The owners of the newspaper “La Voz”, Juan Carlos Vega and his wife Ivonne Fraga, were awarded plaques for their work and contribution to the club and helping with the student scholarship program. 

This was the 17th year that the club honors those who have contributed to help local students and preserve the Hispanic heritage on the Treasure Coast.  The Association, founded in 1992, represents more than 80 members from the Treasure Coast.

The corporation has been recognizing partners who have contributed to helping Hispanic students and preserving Latino heritage in the area for 17 consecutive years. SACI is a non-profit organization founded in 1992 to preserve and promote Hispanic culture on the Treasure Coast and has more than 80 active members.
