Do you like golf?

The members and friends of the Spanish American Club, Inc.  (SACI) continue to play golf at The Saints in Port St. Lucie every Friday after 11:00 A.M.   There are many golfers that are participating in the “Try Outs” since the group was formed in January.  They will continue to play golf until every one reaches 20 games to establish the “handicap” of each player.

The goal of the group is to have a Golf Tournament at the end of the summer to raise funds for the scholarship.   This activity of the club has been appreciated for those members of the club that like golf.

Christmas Party…Good Food, wine and music

On Saturday, December 17, the Spanish American Club, Inc. (SACI) celebrated the Annual Christmas Dinner-Dance Party at a private club house in Port St. Lucie.  The members and their guests were greeted with hugs from the board of directors and drank the sangria punch prepared for the occasion.  They danced with the great music of D.J. Mendoza well into the late ours of the night.

During a break, D.J. Adan Mendoza played a Happy Birthday song for Kino Velez, Joe Castro, Nilda Betancourt, Gustavo Santa, Mary Figliola, Kathy Rivera, Jimmy Rivera and Virginia Feliciano. Then the board of directors raffled the door prizes, held the 50/50 raffle and the hat dance contest.  Congratulations to our president Mary Figliola, and her directors for working tireless to make the Christmas Party a big success.
