January 2023, General Assembly Meeting at DAV

Carlos Bonet was able to find 2 persons willing to clean the DAV after the monthly events,
at the price agreed upon at the Annual General Assembly.
501.C3 – Tax exemption
After deliberation, it was the consensus of the Board of Directors to request outside consultation
for research to determine if the 501.C3 can still be obtained
Bowling-Andres Padilla, Committee Director, will be sending all bowling members a reminder that they
must pay their dues in order to continue participating at the bowling games.
Members Pictures:
We will be taking individual pictures of SACI members during our monthly events. These will
be added (after your individual permission) to our webpage.

January 2025, General Assembly Meeting at DAV

A message from Carlos Bonet – President

All members need to respond to the emails sent from SACI. Please do not wait a month(s) to say that you have not received an email.  Having said this, if any members have changed their emails, address or phone number please notify the secretary immediately.  If there is no response, leave a message and she will call you at her earliest convenience. It is important that I am contacted by email immediately after reading the monthly flyer. This will facilitate the sitting arrangements on each dance.

501C3

Several tactics were discussed to begin on obtaining funds under The Spanish American Club Community Outreach (SACCO).  It was agreed that the Board would have separate meetings.  SACCO will also have a separate bank account. A detailed proposal will be discussed at their first meeting.
