The Spanish American Club Inc. hosts Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament

On behalf of Board of The Spanish American club, Inc. and the Golf Committee, I would like to thank everyone for participating in this year’s tournament on Friday, October 4, 2024, at The Saints.   Most of all, I would like to thank everyone who donated the scholarship throughout the year and for making this year’s tournament a great success.  We enjoyed a beautiful day with friends and after the tournament we celebrated with those that stayed for the awards announcement inside the clubhouse.

We are blessed by their generosity! Congratulations to the tournament winners. Proceeds from the tournament went to support the Scholarship Funds of the club.  For more information or to become part of the group email: hermansanta@comcast.net.

A big Thank You to the ladies of the board of the club, among them Pam Peña, Vivian Megaro, Josie Guadalupe and Evelyn Carrillo who came to support our tournament with goodie bags donated by Michelle Franklin to the players.  And last but not least to the golf committee Gus Migliore and Cecil Elie.

Annual Sport Dance with D.J. José Ramírez at the Disabled American Veterans

On Saturday, September 28th at the Disabled American Veterans Social Club, Port St. Lucie The Spanish American Club, Inc. held their Annual Sport Fan Dance. Carlos Bonet, master of ceremonies and club president welcomed everyone to the party and thanked everyone for continued support. During a break, Carlos conducted the raffles for the door prizes, 50/50 and celebrated the member’s birthdays of the month of September.

The Spanish American Club Inc. of Port St. Lucie is a not-for-profit charitable organization founded in 1992. The mission of the club is to promote friendship and solidarity among its members and other nonprofit organizations throughout the Treasure Coast through cultural, social, civic and sport activities; to promote knowledge of all Spanish speaking countries, their geography, history, art, and folklore.

Golf “Eagles” 2024

Damion Hardin made an eagle on Friday, March 29, 2023, on hole No. 2, 490 yards.  He used the driver, a 3wood hybrid and the putter.  He was part of the SACI golf group with Frank Garcia, al Peña and Eric Williams.  Congrats to Damion.

Tim York made an eagle on Friday, April 8, 2024, on hole No. 17, 310 Yards.  He used the driver and landed near the hole, then he finished with the putter.  He was part of the SACI golf group with Dom Terry, Ed Grooms and Danny Cormier.  Congrats to Tim.

Richie Torres made an eagle on Friday, April 8, 2024, on hole No. 17, 310 Yards.  He used the driver and then he finished with the putter.  He was part of the SACI golf group with Bobby Arroyo, David Santiago and Jorge Crespo.  Congrats to Riche.
