Assembly 2022
January 9, 2022, General Assembly Meeting at DAV
By Evelyn Delgado
Carlos Bonet reported that he has only received 20 people who has accepted to be at the General Assembly meeting. Many members had elected not to be present due to the raising Covid situation; others will still be out of town visiting family during the holidays. Therefore, the Board of Directors took a vote to cancel the 2022 General Assembly.
Having said this, and since no one has elected to run for any positions on the Board, Al Feliciano swore in Carlos Bonet as President. Carlos Bonet then swore in Al Feliciano as Vice President, Josephine Guadalupe as Treasurer, Evelyn Carrillo as Secretary, Vivian Megaro as Public Relations Director, and Nancy Rozon as Vocal Director. Ms. Mary Figliola will be sworn in at our next event. Everyone has accepted their duties in the Board of Directors.

By Evelyn Carrillo
The Annual SACI Christmas event was held on December 10, 2022, at the elegant Martin Downs Country Club at Palm City Florida. We danced all night with the great selection of music from DJ Ramirez. Seeing the smiles and hearing the laugher among the members and their guest made it all worth the effort the Board of Directors put into this event.

Thanksgiving 2022
Annual Thanksgiving with D.J. José Ramírez at Disabled American Veteran (DAV), Port St. Lucie
By Herman Santa
On Saturday, November 25, 2022. The Thanksgiving Dance was celebrated at the Disabled American Veteran (DAV) located at 1150 SW California Blvd., Port St. Lucie, Fl. 34953. Master of ceremonies, president of the club and D.J. was Carlos Bonet who welcomed everyone to the party and thanked every one of them for their continued support.
During a break D.J Jose Ramirez played a birthday song for the members that were celebrating their birthdays in the month of November. The club continued a 30-year tradition by distributing food baskets to underprivileged families for Thanksgiving and collecting holiday gift bags to needy children in the area. It was a memorable evening. The entire committee did a beautiful job in organizing the Thanksgiving event. A big thank you to all the members and their guests who attended, donated Christmas toys for under privilege children and bought tickets for the 50/50 raffle. Proceeds will benefit the club’s scholarship program.
