Anniversary at One World Restaurant

The Spanish American Club, Inc. celebrated its 14th Anniversary last Saturday amid an atmosphere of great camaraderie. The members of the club, along with spouses and friends, dined on succulent creations at the One World International restaurant in Port St. Lucie.
In order to commemorate the occasion, the directors distributed copies of the 15th Anniversary brochure to all the members in attendance. The 32 page pamphlet contains full-color photos of all the directors and all the club’s events held since its Founding in 1992. After the dinner, the president of the club, Dr. Enrique Ospina, introduced the new members and expressed his gratefulness for their support him while in charge of promoting the club’s civic, social and cultural development.
Dr. Ospina dedicated the anniversary of the club to its active directors, of who were present; Ron and Isa Bryson, Herman and Lucy Santa, Rene Cifuentes, Blanca Mireya Kaiser, William Preciado and Maite Peterson. Then this writer and co-founder of the corporation made a brief speed of the club’s history. Founded with 10 members, SACI was the first social, possible civic, benefit and recreational club on the Treasure Coast. It now boasts more than 80 active families as members, who hail from several countries of the Americas, ranging from Argentina to Canada.
During the ceremony, Sam del Rosario received an award for his great work with the club. La Voz and Latin News also received recognitions for their gratefulness for the support and dedication to the SACI. The gala was enlivened by a performance of great by Raul del Rosario and his Showtime D.J,” which had the crowd on its feet until midnight. Thanks to all of those who joined us celebrate this commemorative event for the members of the club, and especially to Dr. Ospina and Blanca Mireya Kaiser, who have made the made the success of this traditional event of the club possible. The next activity planned is SACI’s “2nd Bowling Tournament” on Saturday November 11.

En un ambiente de gran compañerismo y franca camaradería, la Asociación del “Spanish American Club, Inc.” celebró en grande su 14avo. Aniversario. Los socios juntos a sus cónyuges y amigos disfrutaron de una suculenta cena en el restaurante “One World” en la ciudad de Port St. Lucie. Para conmemorar la ocasión, los directores destribuyeron copias del panfleto “15 Aniversario” a todos los socios presentes.
El folleto de 32 páginas contiene fotos a color de todas las directivas desde el 1992 y todos los eventos del club desde su fundación. Después de la cena el presidente del club, Dr. Ospina presentó a los nuevos socios y expresó su agradecimiento por el apoyo que le han brindado en su encomienda de potenciar el desarrollo cívico, social, cultural y deportivo del club. El Dr. Ospina, le dedicó el aniversario del club a los directores activos del club, entre ellos estaban presentes Ron e Isa Bryson, Herman y Lucy Santa, Rene Cifuentes, Blanca Mireya Kaiser, William Preciado y Maite Peterson.
Luego este servidor, co-fundador de la Corporación, hizo un breve recuento de la trayectoria del club. El SACI fundado en el 1992, es el primer club social, cívico, benéfico y recreativo en la Costa del Tesoro. El club, cuyos socios nacieron en varios paises del continente Americano desde Argentina hasta Canada y cuenta con más de 80 familias activas.
La gala, cena y baile estuvo amenizada por Raul Del Rosario y su “Show Time” que nos puso a bailar con su repertorio de música moderna hasta las 12:30 de la madrugada. Gracias a todos los que asistieron a celebrar con nosotros este evento tan importante para los socios delclub. No puedo despedirme sin darle las gracias a los directores, especialmente al Dr. Ospina y a Blanca Mireya Kaiser, que hicieron posible el éxito de este evento tan tradiconal del club.
