President’s Message 2015

As we say goodbye to 2014, I wish to express my appreciation to all our members. Many thanks to my board of directors without whose continued support I would not have been successful.

Thank you, Nancy Rozon Vice President, Ron Bryson Treasurer, Melissa Bonet Secretary, Al Feliciano Director, Tony Colon Public Relations, Fe Vallderuten Substitute and in 2013 Raquel O’Connor Secretary.  These past two years as your President you have shown me and my family that we are not alone in Port St. Lucie. You have welcomed us into your homes and your hearts.

We as an organization have grown in numbers and recognition. We again gave two scholarships, two Thanksgiving food baskets to needy families in Indiantown, and collected Christmas toys for low income children in Martin and St. Lucie counties. We broke bread, danced, bowled, golfed, and played dominoes and volley ball. We have acknowledged and participated with other organizations to the benefit of all. Although we did not do it as an organization, as citizens of Port St. Lucie, we helped elect a mayor. Giving of our time, for the betterment of our city.

After each event that we have had, your comments of appreciation and respect for the efforts of the board make it known, that you know we appreciate you and your families. I would also ask that we do not forget those friends and families that are no longer with us. Continue to say prayers for them and their families. Let them know they will not be alone. May the coming year keep us all healthy, wealthy and loved and at peace with everyone. The world needs organizations like ours. Thank you, Carlos A. Bonet.
