Successful SACI’s Get together with Latin Mix band at Mercedes Marquez’s house
By Herman Santa (Translated by Gabriela Chirinos from Latin News)
The best contribution we can give to the Spanish America Club Inc. is opening not only the doors of our house but our hearts. The host of this month’s “Get Together”, which took place on Saturday July 22 in Tropical Farms, was our beloved Mercedes Marquez from Venezuela. She welcomed the club into her house with a big hug and a kiss, later on; we enjoyed cocktails and a delicious buffet dinner.
Latin Mix band and the talented Colombian musician Jorge Prado delighted everyone with their rhythm, and had everybody dancing until late at night. Blanca Mireya Kaiser took the opportunity to introduce the club’s new members, the members that were celebrating birthdays and gave us an update on upcoming SACI events.

The guests were welcomed by Lee and Nancy on the terrace of their elegant residence with kisses and hugs. As usual at the “Get Together,” they had a drinks station, snacks, and an exquisite buffet prepared by the members themselves.
Elegance dominated the dresses of the ladies in Hawaiian attire as stipulated in the invitation. The gentlemen showcased their colorful Hawaiian shirts. The musical phase was handled by yours truly, who managed to fill the dance floor from corner to corner with my selection of cumbia and merengue music. It was a grand celebration, including exquisite food and dancing until the early hours of the morning.
